Located in the historic village of Lacour de Visa, this magnificent, carefully restored 19th-century stone house is the kind of place that makes visitors pause for a moment before asking if the owners are ready for a quick chat. Fantastic views, beautiful historic buildings, and a collection of splendid bastides surround you. The excellent local restaurant is just a short walk away (and, more importantly, a short walk from the reception area). The town of Visa, with its shops and everything else a civilized person needs, is only a five-minute drive away.
The environment
The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the historic village, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Access is easy thanks to a designated parking area outside. A large open-air terrace provides a relaxing space for enjoying a drink in the late afternoon, while another covered terrace allows you to make the most of sunny days. At the rear, a landscaped garden with a private terrace and a brand-new 6 x 3 meter swimming pool are currently under construction. (Please do not read this page and bring a towel then.)
The Interior
The current owners have excellent taste, and it shows in every room. It's a very old house with a very modern interior: the stone walls, exposed beams, and period features have been carefully preserved, while everything else has been completely restored to a stylish and high-quality finish. Travertine floors run throughout, and the decor looks like it was lifted straight from the pages of an interior design magazine (we checked; it wasn't, but it could easily be).
The open-plan living space extends into a stylish new fitted kitchen, equipped with integrated appliances, and boasts the most beautiful fireplace in town. We've visited many cities and we're convinced of this.
Accommodation

Two main bedrooms, one with its own dressing room
A third bedroom/office is located on an intermediate floor, ideal for guests or for pretending to work.

Practical details
Brand new aluminium windows and a heat pump. The heat pump system allows you to stay comfortable all year round, so all the comfort is outside and in the walls, and the comfort is completely modern.
In summary
Charm, a view, a swimming pool, and a very good restaurant—all this in a house that has already undergone extensive renovations. All that's left to do is unpack, open something fresh, and accept the compliments.
