How do I search for a property?
Use the map to select your desired region or department or type into the search bar. You can then choose your budget and required number of bedrooms if applicable. You can refine results further using advanced filters such as distance, property type, swimming pool and keywords.
How do I search for a property using its reference number?
Enter the property reference in the main search bar on the home page. If the number matches a listing that is live on the site, it will appear automatically.
What should I do if my search returns no results?
Try broadening your search area, increasing your budget, or removing certain filters. Property availability can vary by region and season.
Where do the property listings come from?
Listings are supplied by our network of trusted French estate agents, property professionals and private sellers. They update their listings directly.
How do I set up a property alert?
Run a search, then select Save Search or Create Alert. You’ll receive an email whenever a new property matching your criteria is added. You can also create an alert in your account dashboard.
How do I edit or delete my alerts?
Log in, go to My Account, and select Alerts. From here you can change criteria, create a new alert or delete alerts completely.
How do I save a property as a favourite?
Click on the heart icon on any property. You need to be logged into your account. You can view all your favourites by logging in and visiting your account dashboard.
How do I enquire about a property?
Click Enquire Now/property enquiry on any listing and complete the form. Your message is sent directly to the agent handling the property. You will also receive a copy of the enquiry
What if the agent does not respond?
Most agents reply within 24 to 48 hours. If you do not hear back, contact us and we can follow up on your behalf.
Are property prices final?
In France, most advertised prices include the agent’s commission, but notaire fees and taxes are usually extra. Always check the listing details or ask the agent.
Do prices include agency fees?
Most French listings are shown FAI (frais d’agence inclus). If fees are excluded, the listing should say so clearly.
Do listings include notaire fees?
No, notaire fees are added on top of the sale price. They typically range from 7 to 8 percent for older properties.
How often are listings updated?
Agents update listings regularly. If you think a listing may be out of date, you can report it via the Contact Us page.
Can foreigners buy property in France?
Yes. There are no restrictions on foreign buyers owning property in France.
How does the French property buying process work?
The process usually involves signing a preliminary contract, paying a deposit, carrying out checks and diagnostics, and completing the sale with a notaire. Most purchases take 8 to 12 weeks.
What fees should I expect when buying?
You’ll pay notaire fees, possible agency fees, taxes, and any currency exchange costs if you are buying in a foreign currency.

How long will my listing stay online?
Our standard package is 12 months, but we can remove your property for you if you sell within this time.
Why am I not receiving email alerts?
Check your spam folder and ensure our emails are marked as safe. You can also verify your alert settings in your account.
The website is not displaying properly. What can I do?
Try clearing your browser cache or using an updated browser. If problems continue, contact us with details.
How do I contact customer support?
Visit the Contact Us page and complete the form. Our team normally replies within one working day.
How is my personal data used?
We only use your data to provide your account services, property alerts, and enquiries. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion via the Contact Us page. This will permanently remove all personal information and saved data.
